Furniture-makers are a unique breed. This craft sits at the crossroads of art and engineering. And that's why I make
Rensselaer County home. After traveling the country, I moved to Troy in the early 70's. The place had a pull. And now
it's really taking off. A thriving arts community. A booming business district downtown. And one of the top engineering
schools in the country – Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I started in woodworking because it was a way for me to
connect my past with my passions. And there is no better place to do that than Rensselaer County.
