Robert Pasinella Recipient of Business Review's 40 Under 40 Award
Simon Balint, the director of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Incubator Program, and Maria Barbieri, a Wall Street lawyer who returned to her family's business in Schenectady, are among The Business Review's 2004 class of 40 Under Forty winners, the program that recognizes the brightest up-and-coming young members of the Capital Region business community.

The list includes entrepreneurs, CEOs, bankers and small business owners from companies all around the Capital Region.

The winners were selected by a panel of area business leaders from more than 150 nominations.

The winners are:

David Albert, director of communications at Albany Molecular Research Inc.; Jennifer Amstutz of Girls Inc. of Schenectady; Kristen Andrie, partner at Ferraro Andrie CPA's of Ballston Spa; Deborah Auspelmyer, president of the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce; John Bagyi, one of the youngest partners of the Albany law firm Bond Schoeneck and King; and Simon Balint of the RPI Incubator.

Maria Barbieri, vice president of the Scott and Barbieri Family Funeral Homes of Schenectady; Larry Bulman, business manager of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 773 of Albany; Jerry Casey, president and CEO of Adirondack Specialty Adhesives Inc. of Albany; Richard Cirincione, partner in the McNamee Lochner Titus and Williams law firm of Albany; and Anthony Commisso, owner of Tuxego in Latham.

Jady Davis of Sarasoda Inc., of Saratoga Springs; Felice Devine, vice president of Mehigan Robert & Bellone of Schenectady; Joseph Donahue of WAMC Public Radio of Albany: Partha Dutta, chief technical officer of Applied NanoWorks; Michele Estep, vice president of KeyBank of Albany; David Evans, owner of Re/Max Premier of Albany; and Sandra Fox, principal of Clough Harbor & Associates of Colonie.

The winners will be recognized at The Business Review's fifth annual 40 Under Forty banquet at The Crown Plaza Hotel in Albany May 13, an event that draws upward of 700 people each year.
