Robert Pasinella

Robert L. Pasinella, Jr. is the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Rensselaer County’s Industrial Development Agency.  He is responsible for promoting economic expansion and ensuring the long-term economic vitality of the more than 159,000+ person county. Over the last several years, the Rensselaer County saw $4.5 billion in new investments and more than 4,000 jobs new and higher-paying jobs. This includes a $135 million GE Healthcare manufacturing facility, $500 million for a new and innovative power plant, an $800 million investment by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, a $90 million Fed Ex regional distribution center, and a $145 million Amazon fulfillment center.

Mr. Pasinella serves on the board of advisors of a regional venture capital fund. He has advised many early stage companies hoping to raise capital, expand markets, and understand governmental regulations. He has led several trade delegations to Asia and Europe. He also led a humanitarian delegation to Cuba. 

Mr. Pasinella is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rensselaer County’s Industrial Development Agency, co-founder of a Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence, co-founder of a gaming software accelerator and a co-founder of a successful software company.  In 2004, The Albany Business Review named Mr. Pasinella as one of the “40 Under Forty Business Leaders To Watch.”
